Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Traditional Arts and Crafts exhibits all 36 different types of crafts of Ishikawa prefecture. Visitors can feel and observe the traditional skills developed over the centuries in this region. In the permanent exhibition, objects are classified into such groups as “Clothes,” “Food,” “Houses,” “Praying,” “Festivals.” Our special exhibitions introduce inspiring works from around the country. At our museum shop, visitors can feel and touch the crafts, handmade by local artisans.
